Patrick,

I used to be a consultant at Coopers & Lybrand and am very familiar with Summit-D (Now called Ascendant, subsequent to the merger of C&L with PriceWaterhouse). They have a very nice methodology as well as a web-based product to deliver content. The tool interfaces (builds) Microsoft Project work plans based on its various route maps. You might want to contact a gentleman by the name of Tony D'Andrea who heads up the practice. He is located in Princeton NJ at the PwC office. You can contact me at [email protected] for more information.

Selection criteria is always based business needs, culture, budget, size and complexity of project, objectives and so on. In other words, there's no silver bullet. Here's a book I found on methodologies [http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/p...1783.html], check it out and tell us what you think.
