I don't buy lottery tickets because I feel I wouldn't win. However, if I were to be given a winning ticket (let's say $10 million USD) I'd keep my current job for a while. I'd begin my own business (probably real estate investing), then I'd quit my job and transfer my project management skills to managing my business.

Eric, It doesn't happen like that you wont be giving a winning ticket but if you feel like you said then just don't waste your money.

Once in a while I buy one for fun, I usually like the scratch-offs or the bar keno. Not everything in life should be left to deciding based on value or the mathematical likelihood of an event occurring. Sometimes it is just fun to do. I spend way more money doing things that have zero chance of making me money.

If I win a jackpot, I would definitely quit my current job and look for a job that's less stressful. I also want to help homeless people and those who are suffering from diseases.

On hitting a jackpot why quit the job? Go on a holiday with ur family OR Buy a luxury villa etc. there are a host of things u can do
