I visit a couple of times a day.
As for motivation:
Sometimes it is to gain information either through the discussion group, webinars or articles. Other times it is to see how I can share information, either answering questions or submitting templates.
Additionally, there is the motivation of being part of a community and keeping in touch with my friends.
Then there is my competitive nature that wants to get more badges and move up the headliners list :).
Dinah, you are absolutely right, but sometime I think where all those badges will take us. it is painful when you see that even you visit daily with few replies the score goes down.

Yes, but your score probably only goes down a point or two. Just remember the score you see today is actually a representation of what you were doing 2 weeks ago. And you are at 83 anyway. That is not a score to scoff at. I am excited that I am hovering around 73.
The badges will take us no where. They are just decorations. I like decorations. And they appeal to the collectors in all of us. Since we were kids we have been told to "collect them all". From toys in our cereal boxes to beanie babies to Pokémon.

A couple of times a day at least.

First thing in the morning to contribute my 2 cents to interesting threads and to see if Rami has earned another certification while I was asleep :-)

Later in the day to follow-up on any threads and to cue up a blog (re)post.

What motivates me to do so - Maslow's third (and sometimes fourth) levels...

Usually a morning routine, initially had a link from the PMI website when looking for additional information on a topic. I find it a good way to connect to other PMs and get opinions on different issues and topics.
Michael, that's nice to know about the link. thanks for your feedback

Daily, especially in the mornings and sometime on weekends too.
It's basically for sharing knowledge and learning from others.
