Departmental merger plan

Hi,

I am looking at producing a plan for the movement of one smaller government department into a larger government department. I was wondering if somebody has a plan already for such an undertaking? Looking to take into account organisational, infrastructure, cultural, business, and technology transitions.

Given that this is a BRE project in a way, I was considering starting with the BRE Project Plan and moving on from there.

I led the team which successfully merged three smaller government agencies into a larger government department in the UK. I've since left the organisation so don't have direct access to the documentation but it should be possible to obtain it. There was also a lessons learned report. Let me know if you'd like to pursue this.

I have a high level project plan (MS Project) that incorporates these items but it was for a public acquisition but may be applicable.
