one of my favorites:
"You take over a project. It's clearly screwed up. What do you do?"

Most people answer with "compare goals to progress" or similar. My desired response: "I ask everyone why they think it's screwed up. For all we know, the project is going great, but the problem is in poor communication. Or maybe people didn't really agree about what the goals were".

It also demonstrates that someone will come in and listen instead of just driving others.

I have many other Q&A but i'll let others chime in.

Well. You know depends the projects!! As I am the consultant, some contractors are strong, he can provide and supply what you want to meet project requirements. And some of contractors are weak!! As strategic Do you work with them same as strong contractors!!!?? We should make strategic with these weak contractors and take approval from the client for process and procedures but on right way to continue work with a good quality and track and review the performance!!!

Also a couple of questions regarding the technical side of tings as to ensure he understands technicality and interfacing requirements, as this is an area where a lot of issues and confusion can also occur.

What Are the First Steps of Planning a multi discipline Construction Project, and how will you create the layout of the WBS and interface for the various disciplines and sub contractors as to ensure your roof does not receive priority to site before foundation? Bearing in mind that all of the contractors are bound to their contracts with penalties and standing time.
