I like pressure and deadlines, such as having a lot of assignments to work on, it really helps me to stay motivated and productive. Of course, there are times when too much pressure can lead to stress, and I was actually going through lots of stress over the last 2 weeks, many times I didn't had any clue of what to do next. I think when you face challenges that you never went through in your life, it makes you stronger.

I hear you Anish. I've been having this for the past 6 months. There first couple of months were difficult then you adapt yourself to deal with new situations naturally, thats my opinion.

I agree, Rami. I think it's it's always been survival of the fittest. When disaster strikes both at professional and personal life, it's not easy but some how I was able to survive.

Stress is a state of mind, and as such it can often be redefined, mitigated or avoided. When I feel stressed I take a moment to put things into perspective. For example, if work is stressful I consider that I can always find a new job. Doing so wouldn't be convenient, but the option still exists. Or I might consider that the stress will only last for a set period of time, say six months, and then I just focus on getting through that six-month period. I might also consider how I'll celebrate when the stress is finally over; that gives me something enjoyable to anticipate.

Stress is bad when you feel unable to deal with it. In my case, I tried to avoid getting into stressful situations (prevention is better than the cure) but otherwise rely on countermeasures such as:

- Working out at the gym
- Getting a good night's sleep
- Support from my family & friends
- The Serenity Prayer

Depends on the stress.
If I am feeling overwhelmed at work, I try to stop and take a few minutes to write a list of everything I am working on and prioritize it. Then I can check things off as I go and feel like I am moving forward and not in circles.
If it is stress from relationships at work or at home, I usually need to vent for a minute or two and then try to break things down into logical reasons for why I am reacting a certain way or why they are acting a certain way.
Then there is general stress that I try to meditate, relax, distract myself from with family and friends or occasionally have a few drinks.

You are right, it depends on the stress.
In my case the project deadline was approaching and at home I had to deal with my wife's serious health issues. It was not easy but some how I was able to manage.

As Kiron said, we faced stress in our work!!! The best ways to reduce stress and continue your work as well!!! Meet your family and friends and go out outside, go to gym to forget your stress, go outside and drink coffee, read books, go to LinkedIn and share your knowledge...etc it means make different activities to change your mood to work properly!!!!
