I'm working as a project manager in a small to medium orgnization and I've got an offer to work as a project coordinator in a very big organization with large to mega projects on the latest technology.
Is it a step forward in my career? What do you think?
Note:I have around 3 years experience in project manager position and more than 12 years in total Saving Changes...

Join the large organization; the work you do and the organization in which you do it is more important for your career than your title. Employers will understand why you decided to change from being a Project Manager at a small company to become a Project Coordinator at a large company, and will appreciate the initiative that shows. Also, you’ll likely soon become a Project Manager at the large company, so you’ll have all the benefits.

I agree whole-heartedly with Eric.
My path was very similar in that I became a PM in a smaller cogen power plant where I was managing small to mid-size projects, (i.e. $500K - $3M USD). Making the jump to a larger projectized company where the average project was closer to $20M was a huge transition. The projects tend to be considerably more complex and with that, all of the management areas and project tasks become more complex. This usually requires some mentoring and grooming from senior PM's to learn how to address these complexities.
I think that you will find that you will move considerably further with the larger organization than if you stayed with the smaller one.
Just my two cents. Best of luck to you on your journey. Your PM community is here to help along the way.

When you join an organisation you just don't look for role offered, there are other criterion such as salary, work culture, growth prospects and their businesses. The experience you have gained in your previous organisation will remain with you and will help you to progress further. So it's entirely up to you to decide if only the title matters for you or other factors as well. Saving Changes...

Mayte said a key phrase and I can’t agree more with her. Taking a step back sometimes will help you gain 10 steps forward in the future so I believe going for a project coordinator position in a big organization will complement and enrich your experience and knowledge by being exposed to a totally different environment. Working on large scale projects and organizations is a bit different that working with small ones exactly like doing Scrum with one team vs. scaling scrum, where you have to familiarize yourself with nexus.
One more advantage of working with big organizations is that it will put you in a position to lead smaller ones in the future and add more value. Saving Changes...
