In general, I'll agree with my colleagues but make sure you know WHAT the daily life of a PCO is in the prospective new company. If it is truly to be the right hand person of the senior PM or program manager, that's worth it, but if it's to be a glorified administrative assistant, I'd stick with being a big fish in a small pond till the right opportunity comes up.
Make sure you speak to other PCOs in the company before you accept an offer...
What kinds of opportunities for personal development or career advancement will the company offer and do they have a track record of internal career progression?
