Anyone have tips or links to where I can get more than 1 or 2 PDUs at a time from online courses? Everything seems to be for 1 or .5 PDUs - I don't mind spending the time or money to get more PDUs at a time, just not interested in taking 50 courses online to get my required credits.

Home - I am not sure if you are aware but you can earn PDU’s through so many other ways. You do not need to take courses to do so. If you are a premium member, you can for example earn PDU’s by watching webinars here under thewebinars section and earn 1 PDU’s per webinar. You can also claim 8 ODU’s per cycle for working as a practitioner, you can also claim PDU’s for reading articles and books and thats all somehow for free. Check the CCRS handbook.

Thanks, I have watched several webinars here and found them to be very useful - but as I need 50 PDUs, I would prefer to get more at once, just having a hard time finding a way to do so.

Professional development also includes taking classes. Of course, you pay for the class, but a good way to learn something new, get a new credential and earn a bucket of PDU's. But as it stands, 1 hour = 1 PDU.

Best approach is to space out the collection strategy, not waiting to the last moment :) that in mind 60 across 3-years should not be a problem.

There are many ways to earn PDU's and you should meet the min. of PDU's for talent triangular for education as per mentioned in CCR's handbook. You can earn PDU's from this website as free by watching webinars and you can earn more knowledge and increase your skills.

If you hurry to get more PDU's in a short time, try visit websites like PMSTUDY& PMPRECAST & Udemy and pay packeges to earn more of them!!!

I used vmedu.com and I also bought training from Simplilearn. With Simplilearn I bought Agile training, but was able to access many additional classes. I have also attended online conferences on this site that can give 5-6 PDUs. You can also go to meetings for you local chapter. And there are PDUs for reading, working, and volunteering.

Wait. It think I confused SimpliLearn and LearnSmart (now called Red Vector). It was LearnSmart that I got the extra classes from.

Apparently they still award PDU's for reading a book for 1 hour. In my view crazy, but hey milk it while you can. And read very slowly :-)

Thanks Rajesh although I hadn't replied yet. (Rami - you are correct ;-) )

Only thing I'd add is to take advantage of the full day virtual conferences offered here as you can get a half-dozen PDUs in one day.
