The majority of constraints we face are self-created - for every constraint you assume, ask "why"...

The way I see it, and apply it personally, it is to look at the bigger picture. We tend to focus only on the current project, but rarely stop to think how that fits into our bigger goals.
Many times professionals stay like a mouse running in a wheel, looking only at what is right in front of them.
If we are able to define our bigger picture, and our mid and long term goals, we can then make our isolated efforts count towards them.
Of course, this is easier said than done :) We need to fight the day-to-day and create those spaces for planning and self awareness.
Hope this helps!

Think more macro, long-term, not siloed, big-picture, get above the weeds, see the forest, not just the trees,...

I completely agree with Kiron & Tatiana.

"Thinking Big" to me is to break ourselves from many limitations, which are mostly self-imposed. Setting attainable, time-bound goals for us by having the big-picture in our mind.

My experince with thinking big was not a pleasant, I think we should have some check points for thinking big with a question is it achievable ? And how ? Can you break it down to smaller thoughts ...

Think idealistically. Let your mind dream with worrying about 'reality', or how you're going to bring the idea to life. Have fun with the process, the way you did when you were a kid. Only after you've finished dreaming up your big idea do you think about how to make it happen. It's important to think about feasibility only after creating the idea, or you'll likely focus so much on feasibility and 'logic' that your grand idea will never form. Consider that flying in the air - let alone flying in space - would never have come to pass if those ideas were filtered through the logic of the time before they were conceived.

Fear only exists in the mind. We unshackle the obstacles to thinking more clearly (ie. fear, insecurity, ignorance) and think big.
