Hi everyone,
I'd kindly ask you some idea on how to improve communication within the team.
I am planning to arrange a dedicated session with my team members but I'd pursue intiviatives different with respect classic team building ones ("building a cartoon boat",trekking, etc..). I am looking for something more "real life" exercise. Do you have some ideas? Thanks in advance, matteo

All you need to know is inside here: Shannon, Claude E. (October 1948). "A Mathematical Theory of Communication". Bell System Technical Journal. 27 (4): 623–666. doi:10.1002/j.1538-7305.1948.tb00917
When you understand what communication really is, where you understand the role of "emisor" and "receptor", you will find the way.
For example, to work with people you do not meet face-to-face never after lot of initiatives and no matter that you can communicate, work and achieving the objectives.

You may also wish to consider a friendly competition event such as bowling or a scavenger hunt and then plan a meal together to build some team bonding and unity.

I think I'll plan a day in which I can have feedback 360 in the morning. Then a wrap up after lunch and have some funny stuff in the late afternoon. At the end, as a glorious closure, a tasty dinner together. That's the way to improve both work processes and relationships

To share with you the approache I am going to follow. Prior arranging feedback 360 session I'd meet singularly each team member to get feedbacks helpful to tailor the 360. Do you think It could be a good idea? Second question: As the team is managed by me (the PM) and another person (the technial leader) do you think it can be effective to have preliminary sessions in 1+1 to 1 modality?
