Iam preparing to take my PMP exams but will like to take the CAPM exams also. Question is : Do the PMI exams rules permits candidates to take two seperate examinations concurrently?

If you qualify to sit for your PMP then I suggest that you ignore the CAPM entirely, and the PMP is generally regarded as the bigger, better version of the CAPM. Saving Changes...

I would agree with Eric. If you qualify to take the PMP, there is no point at all of doing the CAPM. Saving Changes...

Hi Samuel,
There is not need to take both exams, if you are able to take PMP exam, you can avoid CAPM. I guess you should check the info about each exam on the PMI website. There are more job opportunities for PMPs than CAPMs. Saving Changes...

Absolutely agree with the above comments from the other members. May I ask why you think taking both would be valuable? Saving Changes...

Same as colleagues said. If you have experience at least tow years, PMP the best option and it is superseding CAPM!!! Saving Changes...
Recommendation you have received here are absolutely correct.
Let me also inform you that PMI doesn't allow you to apply for 2 exams at the same time. Saving Changes...

From what I read, without a college degree, the hours necessary to sit for the PMP are double the hours for someone with a college degree. I have five years of project experience, but do not have a college degree. I believe the CAPM will show my commitment to the process. Am I completely wrong? And does anyone know, when I get my CAPM, can that count towards a PMP? Thanks all! Saving Changes...
