I agree with other. My style adapts to the situation. I think I enjoy the servant leadership style the best. But that is not always appropriate. Bureaucratic is my least desirable style. Just yesterday I was directed to use this style after several previous style attempts failed. I will admit that I am struggling with it.

Dinah, you are right for such a soft caring heart like yours it is hard to use that but sometimes we need to be more directive to control the situation. Thanks for your comment

Actually, few years back I had the same question. Therefore, I did the poll, and the highest vote I got is for 'Coaching' and 'Participative' styles of leadership. At that time, I did not include 'Adaptive'.

Over the years, I observed lot of change in leadership style. Organizations are welcoming changes, and the leaders are more adaptive now.
