Drake SettsuProject Manager / BloggerHi, United States
I feel that style should be tailored to the team that you will manage. You need to have a bag of styles to pull out to create your custom style that will work well with the team.

In other words, while it might derive elements from the list you've provided, Riyadh, it is uniquely "my" style. Be thyself, or risk thy authenticity is (one of) my mottos...

It depends on situation and stakeholders you handle. Good project manager should use different hat of leadership as per requirement. One cannot be successful in peoject by applying only one type of leadership style all time, in all situation and with all the stakeholders.
Thanks Riyadh !!

I agree with other. My style adapts to the situation. I think I enjoy the servant leadership style the best. But that is not always appropriate. Bureaucratic is my least desirable style. Just yesterday I was directed to use this style after several previous style attempts failed. I will admit that I am struggling with it.

Dinah, you are right for such a soft caring heart like yours it is hard to use that but sometimes we need to be more directive to control the situation. Thanks for your comment

According to me a single style may not fit for every situation, so it depends. Personally I enjoy servant leadership style!

Mayte, it is true that each situation or each scenario needs different style, however I avoid to use the word chameleon due to its negative reflection by politicians, thank you for your continuous support and comments
