I'm a student in an aviation project management course at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I'm looking for a mentor because I have assignments that require mentorship.
These are the following qualities that I am looking for in a mentor for this course:

- Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification is desired, but not necessary.
- Can commit to meet with you approximately 30-45 minutes each week for eight weeks. (All this would be is email communication with the weekly mentor topics)
- Has project management experience in the aviation industry.

My courses are 9-week courses and this course runs from August 6th thru October 7th. I am already on week 2 and have had some trouble trying to find a mentor. If anyone is interested, I would also need to be caught up on week 1.

The following are the weekly mentor topics:

Week 1:
What does Project Management mean to you?
What is a Project?
What makes aviation projects unique?
Does organizational structure impact projects?

Week 2:
What leads to aviation project success? To aviation project failure?
Where do projects come from (project selection)?
How do you capture project requirements? Do you use charters, WBSs, and network diagrams?

Week 3:
What lessons can you share about requirements identification/management?
What lessons can you share about stakeholder management?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?

Week 4:
What lessons can you share about Work Breakdown Structures?
What lessons can you share about scope management?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?

Week 5:
What lessons can you share about project estimation?
What lessons can you share about project schedule management?
What lessons can you share about project resource management?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?

Week 6:
What lessons can you share about project cost management?
What lessons can you share about communication management?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?

Week 7:
What lessons can you share about project risk management?
What lessons can you share about project recovery/project failure?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?

Week 8:
What lessons can you share about monitoring your project?
What lessons can you share about communicating the status of your project?
Are aviation projects unique in any of the above?

Week 9:
Share your completed project plan with your mentor. Are these the right things to examine when considering taking on an aviation project? Is there anything missing?

I look forward to hearing from someone.
