I do on occasion. Sometimes I just need a quiet place to do something. Or I get inspired at odd hours of the day or night and jump on my computer to try something or document something.
As far as work life balance, I think I do very well. I do not work from home every evening or even every week. I often do some work when others in my house may still be asleep. I make sure I take lots of time for myself as well. Saving Changes...

I sometimes do and I sometimes sat and work from home ... Everyone’s life and responsibilities are different so you have to find a way to strike and define a balance. Saving Changes...

I mostly work remotely, and my office is a meter from my bed, so my work and home lives are closely tied. Set times for doing work aren't the best arrangement for me for like Dinah I can get inspired at any time. Saving Changes...

I try not to carry out work at home. I have more than two years without doing so. It requires that I work hard the whole day that and plan well my day.
It depends.. sometimes I wouldn't want to stay late at office and I prefer to do it at home late at night. On some days if I have to complete something before next day morning and I hadn't had enough time at office, no other option but have to take my work home. But I mostly try to keep my work at office unless I plan to work remotely on some days.
I agree with Rami's response. Saving Changes...

I mostly try to wrap it up at office and try to spend only family time at home but there are situations and deadlines to be met which may have been impacted due to some delays or changes hence forcing the deadline to be met in short span of time thats when may be you need to take some work home since you can't stay at workplace entire day.

Dinah, Rami and Eric-
I totally agree with what you said. Inspiration and good ideas can strike at any moment, but for me, there are fewer of those moments in the office. I tend to get creative at home, but what I sometimes find difficult when working at home is the discipline to follow through.
Eric, how do you deal with this issue since you're working from home? Saving Changes...
Strive for work-life integration rather than balance. The key is that if you choose to do work outside of normal working hours from home, that should be your choice and not something imposed on you and this should not impact your other personal commitments.

Interesting point Kiron, but I still think that striving to balance this integration is key.

I do not purposely take work home. I do take my laptop home every day, but actually doing work after hours is on a needs basis.

I agree with you Andrew, but I sometimes get overwhelmed with those needs that creep into my schedule on everyday basis.
