Hi PM Community.
I would like to know relevant tools and software anyone new to Agile projects need to be aware of or could gain knowledge thru self learning.
Please let me know your suggestions.

For learning more about Agile, I'd recommend books, starting with the Agile Manifesto, then reading about the various Agile frameworks and methods - Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

Have fun!

Srikana -

PMI's Agile Practice Guide provides a good overview of the landscape but you'll want to move from theory to practice fairly quickly. Learn the tools once you are on a project using an adaptive lifecycle as different companies use different tools - there is no single de facto standard...

Thank you Andrew and Kiron for your insights.
Tooling depends on the type of projects you run; Agile has different flavors. For IT projects, Jira Software is usually a good option. targetprocess is a great choice if your model is more Kanban-like. If you need a strong control on both agile and waterfall projects together, ITM Platform will do a good job!

In my company we have been using Jira which greatly compliments our agile projects.
