It crosses my mind that sometimes, after achieving certain work related goals, you may want to reward yourself with a vacation or some means to refresh while building the mind.

Some colleagues and I decided to carry out an informal and independent survey.

Have you ever considered the possibility of a PM resort, where Project Managers come to kick back for a while and let their hair down, while physically interacting with other Project Managers from around the globe/region and still staying immersed in the Project Management Culture? Just a thought. What could be the draw backs? Could there be some benefits? Does any model like this currently exist?

What would it take to bring this to fruition if a handful of Business Analysts/ PMs, other professionals put this to test? How long could this take?

In my conception, I envisage a well managed facility, with perhaps a Tennis Court, Golf Course, Lake, Swimming Pools, Lecture and Conference Halls, Cafeteria, Gym, Spa, Project Management Laboratories and Studios; Basically a five star amenity.

Your thoughts on absurdities, contribution of ideas, mental impressions, visualizations, judgement, no matter how random or well concocted would be greatly appreciated.
