How often incremental innovation is used in projects to deliver better results? What are the benefits of incremental innovation?

My first thought is a benefit may be user acceptance. Innovation leads to change and people can be resistant the change. An incremental approach may result in a more successful acceptance.

Incremental innovation is at the heart of agile practises, value, principles and the underlying empirical process. Based on the inspect and adapt mantra you execute validated learning sprint by sprint. The benefit is the regular feedback (including possible innovative product ideas).

Hi Sante, from my point of view there are no "agile projects". You execute projects in simple, complicated or complex environments. In case you have complicated or complex environments an agile approach with empirical process control does make sense to obtain / gain incremental innovation benefits.
