Weekend emergencies no team, no contractors what to do?

If you have emergencies on the weekend you try to get any team member to rectify the issue in the workplace and help with the only guy on site, no luck then you try to get external contractor also no luck what would be the optimal solution to avoid such scenario in future?

Since I work in healthcare, we always have an on-call team member in case of any emergencies. So, someone should be available on call 24/7 and it's part of their job responsibility.
Anish, how you hold them accountable do you pay them certain amount to be on call.
we also have on call list but it is not guaranteed that they will show up or even they would pick up the phone.

Riyadh, agreed...being non-IT as before I noted I assumed that is very different. Hope that other colleges can help you :)

If you need an on-site team for 24/7 issues, then you need to have that plan in place from the beginning of the project, as others have said. You shouldn't rely on people's goodwill to fix issues if they are that essential. Sounds like you had an on call rota, so if people sign up to that, they need to be available - perhaps a code of conduct for people on that, like keeping their phones on or not travelling outside an hour away from the area.
