Domain experience is not required to 'start' a career; but to sustain it is a must.

You need to have the minimum domain experience and we've been debating on this within this community forever. Someone with Nill domain experience can't manage effectively and efficiently as for example he can't make sense of the estimates or schedule and so on. He or she does not need to be an expert but at least have the minimum domain knowledge.

It's always good to have domain experience, especially when employers compare people with and without domain experience.

Thank You Sante,

Appreciate your response.I believe I need to narrow down my search to Telecom (especially Unified communication ) since its my domain area.
