Hi Sagar. Well a good place to start is the PMBOK, the PMP handbook and content outline provided by MPI, then a third party book like Rita's "PMP Exam Prep" which also has the option for an exam simulator and flashcards. Another third party provider is Prepcast.

First read PMP tips from PMI website, which are exam outline, handbook. Then read PMBOK in many times and rita book for understanding. After that, practice thousand questions from PMSTUDY, PMPRECAST & Udemy. Finally, take rest and book your exam.

Good luck

Hi Sagar, I agree with Sante and Tamer. The first step y reading the PMBOK, then you can watch some PMP preparation courses on Udemy for free, and last you can take a formal PMP preparation course to clear questions and make simulations. Here at projectmanagement.com you can play some PMChallenges to rate your knowledge about PMI standards and in general the way PMI thinks the Project Management.

I would recommend Rita Mulcahy's PMP Cert prep materials.

All of these folks have good advice. I would also add don't attempt the exam until you are scoring about +80% on all of your practice tests.

Hello Sagar,

you already got great advice here. I would have some more, but unfortenately we are not allowed to post external/promotional links wihtin the discussion board (what is good!).
However, if you search for your topic you will find some addtional great advice within the board.
If you want the shortcut to that information, just drop me a message. ;)

All the best,

Markus

I agree with my colleagues here.

You can also get free mobile apps with sample questions and also online mock exams. All the very best to you.

Hi Sagar, I personally prefer a different approach. I would start with reading Rita's Exam Prep Book as it explains everything in details and then afterwards go through the PMBOK. This will ensure you are familiar with everything. Good Luck !
