Hi Sagar, I personally prefer a different approach. I would start with reading Rita's Exam Prep Book as it explains everything in details and then afterwards go through the PMBOK. This will ensure you are familiar with everything. Good Luck !
Thanks Sir. Just wanted to confirm if these books are freely available or I need to buy these. Saving Changes...
I took the PMP exam three weeks ago I would also share my "fresh" experience.
Very valuable for me was the online preparation course from Linkedin, PMP cert prep, which also includes exercise files, learning tips as well as extended information not available in PMBOK guide but important for the exam. This course is also eligible for the 35 hours of project management education.
The content of the course is almost analogical to the PMBOK guide, only the first chapters differ slightly, so I was watching the course chapter by chapter, while also reading the PMBOK guide in parallel. And the end of each chapter there is quiz, which was first preparation for the exam questions.
At the end of the course you can also simulate real exam with 200 questions, there is also option to do it timed.
After this I tried to do as much as possible PMP exam questions, mostly from smart phone apps.
