CAPM-certified, trying to find first job in PM

Hi,

I recently earned CAPM certification, but I am struggling to find a position, even remotely.

All positions require previous project management experience in an official capacity.

I have experience managing projects, but not with a PM title. My resume reflects this experience, but I'm kind of hitting a wall here.

Any advice is appreciated.

Agree with Sante on approaching companies to offer your services for projects, Rami on looking for a project coordinator role, as well as Rajesh on checking with local PMI Chapter and participate on their activities.

Congratulations, and welcome aboard.

While chapter membership may provide you some opportunity, you can also start volunteering. You may look for a freelance role or contract to hire positions. You can also give a thought in Governance area or on joining a PMO.
