Hi all.

What would you say is the best way to connect with a company or Project/Program Manager whom may be looking for a junior Project Manager? I'm currently in Toronto, but my Visa expires end of next May and I'm looking to stay in Canada to work. Has anyone where ever encountered this personally?

Thank you

PMI Local Chapter is the best way in your case. They might have some available vacancies. Good Luck !

Philip -

Given the short timeline you've got, I'd recommend working through recruiters on existing positions while simultaneously leveraging your local network of advocates who are currently employed in PM roles.

Be open to contract roles as those might be easier to get than full time ones, but if you are expecting sponsorship for permanent residency, contract might not provide that.

One word sums up probably the responsibility of any vice president, and that one word is 'to be prepared'.
