Hello,
What have you done to showcase your work.
In Linkedin and other recruiting sites, more and more you can find the opportunity to share media or slides or projects to showcase your work.
But what do you share when the work you do is proprietary information, as a Program Manager all my work is mainly presentations and strategies that are not public.
How have you approached this tools?
Thanks

With restrictions on IP use it's difficult to share your work on the public domain. You can list your work in terms of responsibilities and achievements. for example: managed 50 people, managed portfolio of $500 million in north america... something on those lines. I know it's tempting to showcase your work but you also don't want to give out too much in the public domain.

You could also write articles on linkedin and pm.com not directly related to your project but demonstrating the knowledge and practical experience you have in your areas of interest.

if you are a freelancer you could share some deliverables but i guess that too wold be subject to IP agreement b/w you and your client.

Thank you Sromon Das, I was talking more about visual show of your work, I guess is not possible. Yes I don't want to show the work I did, that is why I am looking for ideas on how to do this?

Betzabe,

In my case, working in IT most of the information is confidential, then is difficult to showcase (As those amazing videos or fun pictures from marketing project managers or photos and videos from construction project manager where they showed the finished building or bridge....).

However I found the way to "showcase" or "promote" my knowledge and skills without impacting or disclosing information, an as Sromon recommended is creating content, visual content as infographics, slide shares with key point to lead a project/program, contributing to this site with deliverable...

Take a look to Elizabeth Harrin blog, she is contributing not only here also in other social media platforms creating interesting visual content as videos or infographics

https://www.projectmanagement.com/blog-pos...y--Infographic-

From my point of view this is a clear example to showcase your knowledge without impacting the confidentiality of your program/project

The local chapter is an amazing idea, I'm not member of any chapter but I have a quarterly contribution in different chapters newsletter / sites around the world. :)

Consider showcasing the what you did and how, as opposed to what's in it. For example, share your amazing dashboard, but with dummy data. Showcase how the data was aggregated and populated. Or how are you integrating systems for aggregating that data. The underlying how is what grabs those interested in pursuing other options. You can then templatize it and upload to this site as a template.

Many things are not easy to showcase since there is some level of confidentiality. You need to avoid specific. Like other LinkedIn and here are the most practical.
