A new download was added to my list of downloads. However, I did not actually submit it. It was a Japanese translation of one of my downloads. https://www.projectmanagement.com/delivera...se-Translation-
Is this something that happens? Is there an auto-translator?

That’s interesting. When you downloaded it, did it actually show in Japanese, the form itself ?

Very interesting! I have only 3 contributions and none to Japanese. Maybe because some volunteer or editor translated those...

I asked Marjorie about it today and this was the response:

"Translated content is common on the site. We have members who find value in the content on the site, but they are not able to use or read it because it’s not in their native language. Our partners who work in our AsiaPac office select valuable content on ProjectManagement.com to translate so that other members can take advantage of it to help make their projects more successful. You can read more about it in the blog post below:

That's very nice to know and the beauty of it is that the download even if translated remains under your name.

I think it is good that it remains under my name, but I wish it would also say "translated by xyz". Otherwise it appears that I actually know Japanese.

Writing the name of the person who translated it is a very good idea.

I love the idea of the valuable content is being translated. Congrats Dinah!

However, I'm with you... "Translated by a PMI Volunteer" or something similar will be awesome!
