John,
I believe that Agile Alliance may have some. If looking for Scrum or Kanban specific, I know that SrumHub has a few.

John -

Agile is a mindset supported by principles and values. If you want to get a good high-level understanding you can start with PMI and the Agile Alliance's Agile Practice Guide which was published last September.

Then, if your company is following a project delivery methodology leveraging an agile approach you can look for resources specific to the chosen framework (e.g. Scrum, XP, lean).

Very much obliged for your advice.

May I ask, do you have a link to the agile alliances guide or can it be sourced via the PMI website?

Kind regards,

John

Hi John -

The Agile Practice Guide can be downloaded from pmi.org once you've logged in. Similar to the PMBOK Guide, it'll be a password-protected PDF tied to your PMI ID.

Here's a link to it: https://www.pmi.org/pmbok-guide-standards/practice-guides/agile

Scrum Guide on scrum.org.
Nexus Guide is useful to understand the Scrum of Scrums.(also on scrum.org)

PMI's Agile Guide is also a good reference.

Not a book but a very good source of information is Ron Jeffries' site. Ron is one of the XP authors.

https://ronjeffries.com/

XP was the first widely used Agile framework and most of the techniques and concepts originated there.

last but not least: the manifesto for agile software development

most of the Agile frameworks are built on Scrum, XP and AM.
