Motivation Theories for PMP Prep

Hi Friends - I'm preparing for PMP exam as per 6th edition. While doing practise questions, I came across quite a few questions on Herzberg's, Maslow's etc theory of motivation. Are these incorporated in 6th edition? Somehow I don't seem to find this content in PMBOK.. any direction would be highly appreciated.

In the PMP, you might encounter some questions that are not from the PMBOK. The PMBOK is one reference amongst many others. Another source is recommended besides the PMBOK like Rita Exam Prep.

For the motivational theories, you just need to know the basics. Good Luck

I concur with Rami on this.
You should be able to find more info on motivational theories on Rita's exam guide or you can google it.

The PMP exam is mostly based on the PMBOK, however you may see questions on the exam that is not in the guide. For instance motivation theories.
