Servant-leadership and team empowerment apply regardless of the type of project. Specific practices, artifacts and tools may vary, but our soft skills shouldn't.

I am exhausted to read about command and control style is related to waterfall life cycle. And I am exhausted to read about people is comparing Agile with waterfall, which is the same than compare apples with bananas. Perhaps you will say me "ok, stop reading".... The style you use to perform the role is totally independent, has no relation, with the life cycle or approach you take.
