Sergio, In my opinion agility is showing qualitative results by move quickly!

Here comes the definition created in the place where Agile and agility was formaly born (USA DoD/NSF Agility Forum, 1990): Be able respond to a wide variety of unexpected external surprises and create external surprises.Being agile will assist businesses who face unpredictable circumstances.

Before even getting started with Agile: Provide enough evidence to Management and Staff, especially those used to Waterfall, and Familiar with Audits, that the Internal & External Auditors & QA, and especially the Auditors, will accept the type of work & documents done during Agile. As a former auditor, I'd be cautious. I would check with IT Assurance Team, & IT Audit Team, well in advance, to request their approval IN WRITING, & signed by Auditors & Assurance Team, BEFOREHAND.

If some key Managers or Staff do not feel comfortable if Auditors will accept Agile documents, they will resist Agile, no matter how great they think Agile is. You have to get a signed statement from the actual auditors management who will actually audit your systems,. Also make sure your company does not switch to a different auditing firm which has not preapproved Agile IN WRITING SIGNED, IN ADVANCE.
