Everyone has a responsibility to take actions to overcome subtle gender discriminations in the workplace. What are the issues of gender discrimination in the workplace and what can we do to improve gender equality in the workplace?

I honestly haven’t seen any gender discrimination in the companies and projects I’ve worked in. With the Regards to cultures, I’ve seen this when I worked I noticed the gulf region. We are in the 21st century ........ Gender Discrimination should not exist but I know it does which is too bad ....

There is gender discrimination with both sexes. What do we do? The same as any form of discrimination; call it out. And Rami is correct, some countries are a disgrace in that regard. I wish people would discriminate more on common sense.

Gender pay gap. Despite, all of the initiatives over the past decade, the median salary for women working full-time in the UK is still 9% lower than it is for men.

There may not be implicit or open gender discrimination in many Western countries, but it is the unconscious biases which can still cause harm. Certain industries are less prone to this (e.g. IT) but others might suffer from it more.

Mindfulness is one way to avoid it, but so is embracing diversity and soliciting feedback.
