Scrum teams choose different times for daily scrum meetings. What is the right time for a daily scrum?

There is no right or wrong answer to this IMHO. However, one determining factor is the geography / time zones of all team members. If that is not an issue for you then early in the day is usually most productive (before everyone gets drowned in their inbox).

Ensure it is at the same time/same place (virtual or physical). That reduces one source of confusion for the team.

I also like to start it a few minutes into the hour (e.g. 10:05 AM instead of 10 AM) to give folks a chance to assemble and to collect their thoughts on what they are going to share.
