In my country, it's seen as a full-blown profession for decades. Internationally I'm seeing it's getting more and more the acknowledgment it deserves.

Is your question related to the growth of PM world-wide and across multiple industries or rather the evolution of the profession. If the former, then I'd agree with my colleagues above, whereas if it is the latter, then I'd say it is not evolving as far as the pace of other changes.
