Hello All,

First time posting on here, but have been a long time reader of all the great content. I'm currently taking a Global Project Management class that requires me to find a mentor. I figured, with the vast knowledge and brilliant PM minds on this site, it would be a great place to request some assistance.

This is the second to last class required to finish my B.S. degree, which is heavily focused on PM fundamentals, and hopefully, if all lines up, I will be testing for my PMP certificate later this year.

Because this class has a global focus, I would request that a mentor has had global PM experience. Also, having a PMP certification is desired, but not necessary. Lastly, I would ask that you commit approximately 30 minutes a week during the next 8 weeks. During this time I would ask you 2 to 3 questions per week about your PM experiences, for example, did language play a factor in project accomplishment, etc.

I really appreciate your consideration on this, please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you!

Michael, I would suggest you connect with your local chapter as I believe they will assist you with your request because as far as I am aware, every chapter has a mentorship program. Good Luck !

Michael is looking for global project management experience. This might be difficult to find at your local chapter.

I think online forums such as this one is the right place to find the person you are looking for.
