I would like to know if the PMI-RMP exam based on PMBOK 5th edition or 6th edition, because the risk processes have been changed in the 6th edition.

For RMP, focus three chapters of PMBOK version 5, which are communication, risk and stakeholder chapters. After that read very well the practice risk management book from PMI and solve questions. Follow Alaa Sultan in Facebook, he is the best one to pass RMP in a first time!!!

My thought it based on PMBOK 6th Ed since 6th of March,2018.
49 processes in PMBOK 6th ed rather than 47 processes in PMBOK 5th ed.
( there are 3 new processes added and remove one)

Mansour

Omer, the new revision for the Practice Standard for Risk Management will be issues early 2019 and will be based on PMBOk 6th Edition and the exam will change afterwards. That’s what I heard so for now, the exam and practice standard is still based on the pervious versions.
