So I have been pondering with regards to the headline and what Information management means to me in my every day work place. And to be honest there are many components that come to mind.
Organisation, prioritisation of information.
Ensures quality and integrity of the data.
Use of appropriate means and media to convey that said data.
Respects the privacy and confidentiality of that information.
uses that information to gain buy-in.
creates a clear framework for information and data storage.
And in laymans terms:
To be effective every manager needs to be able to use that information. The information needs to be compelling as when someone takes the time to present a message clearly and concisely that message or passage of information is positively received.
I learned a long time ago that you must have prior preparation as this prevents poor performance. This also binds with the management of that preparation and planning. Saving Changes...
