Hi, mostly from curiosity, I was wondering what does the influence score here on this site mean personally for you? Are you trying to reach the top because of being competitive, do you have other reasons or do you even care? Do you follow people with high score?

In a ham and egg breakfast, the chicken is involved but the pig is committed.
It is interesting that due to political correctness, the pig & chicken explanation has been dropped from most agile courses when speaking about core stakeholders vs. observers.

Dear Kiron
Thank you for sharing your opinion on the topic

Despite having eliminated the animals, the concepts remain, do we agree?

The concepts of involved and committed

Let's face it, that without animals it loses strength :-)

Kiron, Stéphane,

We need to find a Vegan replacement for egg and ham!

What about "In a salad, the Appletree is involved but Carrot is committed" ;-)

I didn't know about the influence score or how to make it move on the meter for a long time. It is important for me to be engaged and learn/grow/share with my peers on this site. It helps me grow and look at things from other perspectives. When I did learn about the influence score, it became fun to watch it grow and is something of a personal motivator - but is not "all important". Again, for me, the most important thing is that I remain relevant and ever-evolving and growing as a project manager.

Ah Mayte, you hit the nail on the head. There is no "correction" in the algorithm for quality or lack thereof.
Yes Vincent, better moderation.

Speaking of vegan ... what are we going to do with the stories of animals that eat humans?

What about animals that eat meat?

These changes are nothing more than the sign of the times

Does our cultural heritage go down the drain?

Or will they be recycled at the WWTP? :-)

Still on the influence in this community

Why, in your opinion, are there people who:
- Have an influence equal to or greater than 90?
- Is the 25th person with the most influence in this community rated 82?
- Although they do not have a significant presence and contribution to the community, are they among the 25 most influential people?

It is the result of combining the algorithm with human intervention

In short:
It seems to me that the influence is well thought out
