How would you manage the new circumstance? How do you want to address the associated risks? How about legal concerns and challenges?

I was once running an industrial construction project as the PM and one of the tasks was being subcontracted to a company homeported in Colorado where Cannabis had been legalized for recreational use. The company I was working for in Nevada had requirements for drug testing of employees (THC included). When the start date arrived, no workers showed up! It turned out they could not find workers that would pass the drug test. Someone that used it will not pass a test for close to 30 days.
Obviously, someone showing signs of being drunk or high need to be tested ASAP for safety reasons.
