I am planning to attend a CAPM certification programme. Can someone make a comparison between PRINCE2 and CAPM ?

Hi Alice,
I think this blog post https://www.whizlabs.com/blog/pmp-capm-prince2/ make a good comparison.
According to it, CAPM is widely accepted in the US and Asia, while PRINCE2 is widely accepted in the UK, Europe, and Australia. CAPM is generic and applicable to various industries. while PRINCE2 is more IT-focused.

I will write something obvious but CAPM is a certification and PRINCE2 is a method. As Pang stated above PMI way to manage projects is mostly used in USA and Latin America while PRINCE2 is mostly used in Europe. In my personal experience I saw a mix in Asia and Australia. What I do each time I am thinking to start the endeavour to get a new certification is making my own estimation about future market demands and based on that I go for it.
