You can complete them all in one year if you’re dedicated but I honestly see no value in doing so at all.

For what it's worth...the familiar quote mentioned early in this discussion is incomplete. The complete quote:
"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."
My PM experience is too old to use for PMP certification, so I'm settling for the CAPM for now as I get back in the game. As I do so, I don't want to limit myself too narrowly. But I don't necessarily want it all to come from PMI. I'm also working toward the Security+ certification at the moment. Saving Changes...

Hi Jeff, thank you so much for sharing. Your contribution is pertinent and your decision also so wise. PMP or CAPM, that's quite the same, the greatest of all mistake is do nothing because you can do a little. Saving Changes...

Cheikh,
There are a few PMI Members who have all/most PMI credentials. They work as Registered Education Providers (REP) and/or Consultants. I am honoured to know a few and highly admire their ability and perseverance.
PMI (or any other) credentials/certifications are part and parcel of the career path we choose and what we want to achieve.
If you believe this is your calling, then go for it. The sky is the limit and the time what you decide it to be. Saving Changes...

Sometimes I feel. The PMI organization is like a typical business that used to force the consumption of PMI-certified persons and create cavity for their demand from the industry to fulfill the needs of certifications. The highly cost certifications that have no limit are continuously pursuing one certification and another. If certifications are the right and best to follow up, then what will happen to those who are most perfect, credible, and highly competitive but not interested in PMI certifications? Will the industry be going to miss them due to the influence of PMI? Saving Changes...
