PM Warriors – How often you engage in PMwars?

While it could be stimulating for many to engage in friendly wars, how do you feel about PMwars? Are you impulsive enough to accept any challenge or, take time for think about Cost-Benefit Analysis for such engagements?

What influences your engagements to ‘any’ war in terms of 'new opportunities for win', 'personal belief', cost, location, time, etc.?

Do not like wars and prefer win-win situations.

I was hoping for some PM warriors to share their input or, at least point to any guidelines / rules of engagement. It’s unusual to expect a PM to act on such impulse without having a proper understanding of consequences.

Here are my additional thoughts on PMwars,

1. Some might say its friendly fun thing. The wars are never friendly or, fun. In fact, the term ‘war’ reminds of painful memories of lost souls …even for winning side. ‘Hope this feature is labeled as something else, which is not so gruesome.

2. The unexpected challenge from stranger appears more like an ambush rather than friendly engagement.

3. The designer / administrator of this feature at the site, please add FAQ / some relevant info at page. For uninterested members, there should be option to reject such challenges.
