Hello. I was wondering if anyone know of a company that offers volunteering opportunities where I can build my PM skills? I'm located in Indianapolis, Indiana and there are no opportunities available within my chapter. I'm willing to work in person or online. Thank you!

Always an option to check with local municipalities for assistance with event planning for fundraisers, or other community events.

Continue to be active in your local chapter, though. Not just to be involved, but to also catch wind of any new upcoming opportunities. Additionally, the networking itself is valuable and can lead to potential opps. Good Luck!

It is also best to check with your local PMI chapter, they would have opportunities as well.

Hi, I would also recommend www.volunteermatch.org or taprootplus.org. The second one is focused more on professionals while volunteermatch does not require any qualifications to join the portal.
I have experience with volunteering as PM for non-profits and also volunteering for local chapter. But local chapters need more help with setting up their events I would say. So if you want to practice your PM skills, look for non-profits who are running projects and need people to manage it.
I'm currently pacrticipating in PMI local chapter communicaty outreach project, we teach kids project management. That is also very nice and enriching activity.

Good idea to look for volunteering opportunities.
If you do not find anything locally, consider a global opportunity, most of them come with virtual work.

Look at:
PMI Volunteer system - vrms.pmi.org
checkout PMIEF, they can assign volunteer PMs to NGOs - pmief.org
Toastmasters, they offer a leadership path and you have to volunteer to organize it - there are 68 clubs in Indianapolis
or
