Hi,

I am reading Vijay Verma book: "Organizing Projects for Success" and will done with it soon. I am wondering how should I report the PDU for it. I will report 8 PDU (although I will end taking more than 8 hours to read it) but don't know how to distribute according to PMI triangle.

Any hints?

Thanks all

Adel -

You'll need to take your best guess regarding the split across the three legs of the Talent Triange. I haven't read that book specifically but given that Vijay normally writes about the human side of project management, I would allocate more PDUs to leadership than to the other two legs...

Hi Kiron,

Yes, Vijay concentrate on human side, this series is called:"The Human Aspects of Project Management", but in this book (Volume 1) I think its somehow splitted between Strategic management (since he is concentrating on how organizations are structured) and leadership as you said.

In the 2nd volume (Human resource skills for the project manager) and 3rd volume (Managing the project team) I think it will be mainly leadership.

So Kiron at the end of the day I have to take my best guess, right?... So can I say that there are no strict rules to follow and I should not overthink it, should I?

Thanks a lot for your help.

You got it - the only other option is to contact Vijay himself and see how he'd allocate PDUs across the three legs :-)

Thanksa lot Kiron for your help, after revising my notes I will go with the point you mentioned, Vijay concentrates on the human aspects... so more PDUs to leadership.

No need to contact Vijay personally :)
