the challenge with data analytics applied to project management is that projects are, by definition, unique. As such it is very hard to draw meaningful conclusions.

Teams should include key facts to help explain the results.
a. Calculate an average of data collected
b. Summarize the results as a ratio or percentage
c. Display data clearly and concisely

The data should be:
Validity: Steps to limit transcription error
Integrity: Independent review of results reported
Timeliness: The data collection in place should meet program management needs
