Hi There,

I have some questions regarding PMI profile.

1. better to create the profile, submit then start to study or submit the profile after you I am ready for the test?
2. how many months we have time to register to the exam after our profile submitted and approved.
2. Who has used PM FASTrack® Exam Simulator cloud base subscription?
3. job description is enough or I need to add all details like skills and describe them.

Thanks
Nahid

Nahid, how many months you feel you need to study before you write your exam?
Have you calculated your hours to qualify in other words how sure about your profile
is powerful enough to get you through!

Hi Riyadh,
Thanks for your quick reply,
I do need 5-6 months to get ready for the exam
and actually it's a big concern for me, I dont know how hard is get through the profile .
I have a bachelor, I have enough hours as a PM and PM Coordinator. Looks OK, but not sure how I should start.

I am so confused.

Also
should I pay for PMI to be a member first of all?

With your bachelor degree you need only 4500 hours plus the 35 education, actually writing your profile is a project by itself so you need to secure the success of that project
once you pay exam fees and get membership you have one year to write the exam but i would suggest to start writing the exam when you have at least six months left so to keep time for the unforeseen
Do more search on PMI website,I will give you more hints.

I do have 4500 hours and 35 education.
However you suggest first submit my profile get approved, pay and then I would have 1 year to write down the exam. Right?

Yes, and you have to ensure your hours divided on all five domains as per PMI ( very important)
Also to read PMBOK guide and to do more mock exam

another question:
If my application won't get approval, what happens?

Assuming profile, in this case, is the application?

Like my friend, Riyadh states, the application is its own effort. Focus on getting through that and submit. I would also suggest informing those managers whom you reference ahead of time in case there is a need to supply additional proof (audit). If the application is rejected, simply update and resubmit.

In my preparation, I began studying once approved so to have full focus. I also used the same span as you plan; 5-6 months. Good luck!
