It is always preferred to have a short time frame for project but sometimes and some projects takes more than a year

In my case it is about 4 years
A major hospital
Vincent, I guess when it is 4 or 5 years would looks like a Function Manager but I guess there are projects which takes longer time to complete.

4 Years, it was a pipeline project.
Kathy, I see I think that falls under construction category as well.

I've seen a big IT job for a new BOM/MRP system at a major enterprise level take 5+ years. Some of that was converting massive amounts of legacy product definition from paper to digital and some was just management issues.

Large manufacturing projects can take 5+ years as well. Some of the parts alone take 3+ years when they require large new capital investments like a new plant and tooling to make them. Those wind up being projects within projects.

Crazy as it sounds, the career pivot into project management has been a year and a half now, with light at the end of the tunnel!

That’s been a project unto itself to train and learn so much.

William I like that pivot point so it moves like in the financial market, changes with fluctuation of support & resistance
