Hi fellow community members and poll masters.
When creating a poll on this site, how, as the owner, are you notified of, or able to view the results?
Do I need to vote on my own poll in order to see the current results? Is there no difference when viewing a poll as the owner of the participant?

Hi Andrew, I posted one poll and I was able to see the results until I closed it.

I guess you will have to vote too and comment to be notified or subscribe to this poll so you receive notifications. I know it might be a bit odd but as we all know, there is lots of improvement needed for this site.

Interesting. So once I vote, I see the results for that given time. However, to keep track I will need to explicitly go and search for it to see the stats? Hmmm.

You can vote or not vote, and still see the results. I usually go to my profile, click on the Contributions tab, then select Polls in the list of contributions. Once there is a poll created, there doesn't seem to be any difference with owning it other than ability to close or delete the poll.

^ Thanks. I had done that. Could not see results until I voted on it.

Ah that's interesting. I will have to check that out next time I create a poll. Thanks for the heads-up.

Andrew, what Rami suggested is the right thing I just saw the web page so I am responding little late but even when you vote you wont be able to get notification like this here on your email when some one comments but to see the result you have to go physically and open the poll to see all results and comments. I agree it is a little bit retarded and as Rami mentioned more improvement needed. I will go and vote and support you

Great, thanks! I wouldn't use that durogatory term, but I understand your point. Should not be able to vote on or up-vote one's own content. Anyway. No big deal in the grand scheme.
