The online project management system is often found to be challenging in projects, particularly in non-service space. In IT or service industry where the billing can be directly linked to man-hours, this is quite practiced. However, in the manufacturing and R&D space, the resources directly reporting out the progress in the system looks to be challenging.
Is there any success stories that can be shared, particularly the insight on the tools and practical approaches could help a lot.
