Congratulations Robert. In my resume, I have a section that includes all my certifications and I are sure that the header of my resume includes PMP following my name. One more thing, there is a brief summary on page 1 in my resum and it start with: A certified project management professional with more than 15 years of experience, ...., and so on”.

This way you have all the key words for online search and they are properly highlighted. Good Luck !
Thanks for the tip

Congrats! Would assume the skills and experience existed already, though, now 'formalized' with the designation. All good tips above for a general resume format. I do similar to what Rami suggested, append my name, highlight in summary, have a section for designations. Then, the content within the resume would then support that.

Hello Robert: Congratulations! I believe achieving your PMP certification will not only help you land a better job, but will improve your salary. I like what everyone shared already and the only thing I might add is to volunteer with your local PMI chapter and place that work on your resume as well. It will also help you network with many other companies/industries. At our local chapter they place a certain colored sticker on our name tags if we are looking for a job - and they place another colored sticker on name tags of people who are offering jobs to others. Its a great tool!
